CPD

Please note that activities that support and cultivate sharing and learning of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges in dental practice could, depending on individual learning needs, count towards an individual’s CPD.

The Dental Board of Australia’s (DBA) Registration Standard on Continuing Professional Development (the Standard) is very flexible in its approach to the types of continuing professional development (CPD) activities you may undertake and the number of hours you can spend on each activity to meet the DBA’s requirements. The DBA does not review or approve CPD courses or CPD course providers. You, as a registered health professional, need to make a professional judgement about the appropriateness of the CPD activities you undertake and should ensure records are kept of all activities completed, as required by the Standard.

If you have any suggestions for people you would like to hear speak at the yarning sessions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the IDAA at info@idaa.com.au.
