The University of Sydney now offers direct pathway options for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to pursue a Bachelor of Oral Health, with progression to the Doctor of Dental Medicine. This initiative opens doors for oral health therapists looking to advance their careers into dentistry. You can find out more about the pathway options here.
The University of Sydney has a quick online survey for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who have previously been enrolled in a Bachelor of Oral Health degree, Doctor of Dental Medicine degree or equivalent university degree. The survey will explore barriers and enablers experienced by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people when completing a university dental degree.
You can view the survey here.
Each survey link has information about the research so you can choose if you would like to participate or not. If you want to talk about the survey more, please reach out to Erin Taylo at e.taylor@sydney.edu.au
